Every state in the US is Direct Access, which means that you can receive immediate treatment from a physical therapist without first seeing a physician, saving you time and money. Though some insurance plans may require you to obtain a referral from a doctor, we can always check for you prior to beginning treatment.
With that in mind, our therapists are also qualified to recognize when a patient exhibits symptoms outside of the scope and expertise of physical therapy. We’re more than happy to refer you to a physician or additional health care provider when necessary.
Physical therapy is all about movement. We ask that you wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes, similar to what you might wear to a gym.
We’ll also need you to bring a few items with you:
- Photo ID
- Health insurance card and co-payment (if applicable)
- Insurance referral (if needed per your insurance policy)
- Patient Intake Forms: We encourage you to fill these out online before your appointment. If you’re able to complete them in advance, there is no need to bring a copy to your appointment
