Carlee Martin PT, DPT | Physical Therapist 

Carlee was born and raised in the city of Yakima, Washington. She graduated with a Bachelor of Exercise Science from Eastern Washington University, and then completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at George Fox University in 2024. Carlee is passionate about treating patients from all walks of life, with a particular interest in soccer and track athletes as well as post-operative joint patients. She believes in a person-centered approach, where meaningful goals and treatments are created from a collaboration between herself and the individual person’s needs and preferences. Carlee would like to empower each patient through education, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities in order to return people to doing things they love. In her time outside of work, Carlee loves to play soccer, run, hike, head to the gym, watch movies, and try all cuisines of food. 

Olivia Aho, PT, DPT | Physical Therapist

Olivia graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology from Washington State University and then completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at George Fox University in 2024. She enjoys treating a variety of patient populations, with a special interest in dance rehab as well as working with children with neurologic or orthopedic impairments. She believes in looking at the patient holistically, rather than singular impairment, and addressing the patient’s entire being in order to take into account the many facets of illness and dysfunction. Olivia wants to partner with patients to reach their full potential with movement and wellness, whether she works with a pediatric, dance, geriatric, or the general orthopedic population. In her spare time, Olivia enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her family. Recently she has begun to learn tennis and golf, she believes it is never too late to start new hobbies.

 

Rachel Chao, PT, DPT | Physical Therapist

Rachel is a Portland native and attended Oregon State University where she received her Bachelors in Kinesiology. She then went on to obtain her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in Austin, TX in 2023. Rachel is passionate about helping patients reach their goals and return to their hobbies through the implementation of patient education, manual therapy, and exercises tailored to each individual’s needs. Outside of the clinic, Rachel enjoys staying active by weight training, exploring the Portland food scene with her friends, and supporting the Trail Blazers!

 

Laurel Rinehart

Office Coordinator

Laurel grew up in California and graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a major in Sociology and minor in Professional Writing. She moved to Portland in 2020 and fell in love with the city’s natural landscapes and unique food scene. She enjoys supporting others and creating organizational systems, which is why she was excited to join the administrative team at Therapydia. 

In her spare time, Laurel can be found cooking meals with her partner, gardening, crocheting, and doing yoga. She loves trying new things and is always searching for new restaurant recommendations.

Joseph Pho was born and raised in Salem, Oregon. He went to the University of Oregon where he received his undergraduate degree in Human Physiology. He then attended the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Miami, FL, graduating in 2021. While there he excelled in manual therapy, winning the school’s award for excellence in manual therapy. Jo enjoys working with individuals of all sorts. He has spent time working with young athletes, victims of motor vehicle accidents, and post surgical patients. Outside of treating patients, Jo loves playing basketball, trying new foods, and collecting sneakers!

Tony received his doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) degree from Boston University in 2014. While studying, he also worked as a strength and conditioning coach for club sports teams including rugby, ice hockey, and volleyball as well as both the Army and Navy ROTC and individuals of myriad fitness levels.

Passionate about continued learning and providing optimal care for patients, Tony completed a Manual Therapy Certificate (MTC) program in 2017 and became an orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) in 2018. He also completed a fellowship program in orthopedic manual physical therapy through Belling College in 2021.

His clinical philosophy revolves around strong patient communication and education, expert manual therapy skills, and the prescription of exercise for both rehabilitation and performance. He particularly enjoys working with active individuals and promoting long-term health and fitness through an intelligent approach to training.

In his free time Tony enjoys calisthenics and kettlebell training, hiking, cooking, walking his dog, and travel.

Born in Burma and raised in NE Portland, San loves spending his time climbing, tanning in the sun and reading manga! San obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Redlands in Southern California, and he has a deep passion for the clinical sciences. San loves connecting with people from all walks of life and he is excited to watch the healing his work with Therapydia will facilitate within his own community.

Rennie was born and raised in NE Portland. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Westmont College in Santa Barbara and spending some time abroad in Uganda, she is excited to be joining Therapydia’s team back in her old stomping grounds! In her free time, you can find her relaxing in a hammock, reading at a local coffee shop, or taking a day trip to the beach.

Jessica Jones

Physical Therapist

Jessica recently moved to Seattle from Boston, MA and is excited to join the Therapydia team. Her treatment experience includes orthopedics, sports medicine, pediatrics, and vestibular therapy. Jessica received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in Boston, MA in 2016. She has completed the Pediatric Physical Therapy Residency at Boston Children’s Hospital and is in the process of completing a Comprehensive Vestibular Rehabilitation certification. Jessica believes in empowering and inspiring patients to take control of their health through education, movement, and exercise. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and levels while utilizing soft tissue techniques, neuromuscular re-education, balance training as well as therapeutic exercise. In her free time, Jessica enjoys yoga, dancing, kayaking, and hiking with her dog!
