Jacquelyne Lucas | Office Manager

Jacquelyne grew up in sunny Southern California and ultimately moved to Oregon several years ago to pursue a career in alternative medicine. She has always been raised to look at health as a whole and how to apply natural remedies when available. Growing up, Jacquelyne was encouraged and worked closely with her Aunt who practiced Herbalism professionally which opened the door to self healing and preventative care. In her free time, Jacquelyne enjoys diving into her passions which include cooking, digital coding, animal welfare, hiking and online gaming. She is excited to be a part of the Therapydia team and where this journey will lead her!

 

Chelsea Wilson
Office Manager

Chelsea was born and raised in Happy Valley, OR. She is an alumnus of Clackamas High School, class of “03…Go Cavs. She graduated in 2017 with her Masters in Management with a focus on Organizational Leadership from Warner Pacific University. Chelsea has been in the medical field for many years and has a true passion for helping others. In her spare time, Chelsea loves working around her home and reading when she gets a chance. Two fun facts about Chelsea are, that she is a Dallas Cowboys fan and she loves I Love Lucy.

Ryan Eckert, DPT
Clinic Director

Ryan, originally from Northern California, received his B.S. in Human Biology from UCSD in 2013 before obtaining his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of California San Francisco and San Francisco State University in 2019. During that time he studied with top myofascial decompression and running biomechanics researchers and is excited to bring these findings into his clinical work.

Prior to his studies, Ryan was a former all-conference NCAA track and field athlete and has worked with a diverse range of clients over the last 5 years in a variety of rehab and training settings. Additionally, he is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment(SFMA) and Rocktape, and holds a Russian Kettlebell Certification (RKC) that provides him with the knowledge of how to modify and adapt exercises and manual treatments to optimize results of people seeking improvements in both their everyday and athletic lives.

When not at the clinic you can find Ryan exploring Portland via trail, bike, on the water or brewery and enjoying the outdoors.

Jessica Jones

Physical Therapist

Jessica recently moved to Seattle from Boston, MA and is excited to join the Therapydia team. Her treatment experience includes orthopedics, sports medicine, pediatrics, and vestibular therapy. Jessica received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in Boston, MA in 2016. She has completed the Pediatric Physical Therapy Residency at Boston Children’s Hospital and is in the process of completing a Comprehensive Vestibular Rehabilitation certification. Jessica believes in empowering and inspiring patients to take control of their health through education, movement, and exercise. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and levels while utilizing soft tissue techniques, neuromuscular re-education, balance training as well as therapeutic exercise. In her free time, Jessica enjoys yoga, dancing, kayaking, and hiking with her dog!
