Originally from Seattle, WA Ashley relocated to New Orleans, LA in January of 2021. While Ashley misses hiking among many other outdoor activities, she enjoys the culture Metairie, Louisiana. She loves frequenting the French Quarter for shopping, checking out the museums and being close to Mississippi beaches. She enjoys painting, reading, and trying new places to eat. She takes her dog Chiweenie to the dog park a couple times a week and enjoys walking at City Park. She also loves that there is so much to do here in New Orleans.

Dr. Milner earned her Doctorate of Physical therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2016. She attended the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi where she earned the Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a Minor in Psychology. She has worked in outpatient settings since graduating, treating various patient populations, including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurological conditions, and pelvic health. Lizzy is certified to practice dry-needling through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. She also has completed Pelvic Floor Level 1 training through Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.

Lizzy believes in the importance of empowering her patients to help them achieve their goals. She focuses on creating individualized care plans that will help to make a significant and positive change in the lives of her patients.

Lizzy enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends, running, Reformer Pilates, baking, and walking her two rescue dogs, Janet and Mojo.

Dr. Layne Lockwood is a residency trained Physical Therapist specializing in the field of Orthopedics. Dr. Lockwood’s practice is focused on utilizing a patient centered approach combining research-based practice with his patient’s goals to optimize function regardless of their current physical condition.

Dr. Lockwood attended LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana receiving his Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Human Movement Science. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from LSU-Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. After receiving his degree, he elected to pursue a Residency at LSU Health Shreveport where he received speciality training from other Board-Certified Specialists and worked collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide evidence-based care for patients resulting in improved outcomes. Dr. Lockwood is trained to treat all orthopedic conditions and injuries with a special interest in post-operative rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, and low back/neck pain.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Lockwood enjoys weightlifting, Saints and LSU Football, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Fedor earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 2012. She obtained her Bachelors degree in Psychology/Biology from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa in 2009. Whitney has advanced training in pelvic health with a Pelvic Rehab Practitioner Certification (PRPC) through Herman and Wallace education. Also Whitney has been dry needling since 2014 with a KinetaCore certification for needling of the full body and pelvic health specific impairments.

Whitney has a specialized interest in treating pelvic health patients’ women, men and pediatrics where she has been serving the greater New Orleans area since 2015. Whitney is a new mother herself where her desire to help enhance the treatment of pelvic floor impairments was only fostered following the birth of her son.

Whitney enjoys doing anything outside especially water related and spending time with her friends, husband, son, and dog.

Jessica Jones

Physical Therapist

Jessica recently moved to Seattle from Boston, MA and is excited to join the Therapydia team. Her treatment experience includes orthopedics, sports medicine, pediatrics, and vestibular therapy. Jessica received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in Boston, MA in 2016. She has completed the Pediatric Physical Therapy Residency at Boston Children’s Hospital and is in the process of completing a Comprehensive Vestibular Rehabilitation certification. Jessica believes in empowering and inspiring patients to take control of their health through education, movement, and exercise. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and levels while utilizing soft tissue techniques, neuromuscular re-education, balance training as well as therapeutic exercise. In her free time, Jessica enjoys yoga, dancing, kayaking, and hiking with her dog!
