Born and raised in Oregon, Ryan attended the University of Oregon where he received his B.S. in Human Physiology. He then received his doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) degree from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ in 2014.

After moving back to Portland in 2016, he devoted significant time to pursuing education with the Institute of Physical Art, learning about their treatment focus on Functional Manual Therapy®. Ryan completed their certificate program as a Certified Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT) in 2019.

His clinical philosophy focuses on the whole body instead of just focusing on where it hurts and incorporates active movement patterns into his interventions. These are far more effective and give longer lasting benefits than passive manipulations or modalities.

In his free time, Ryan enjoys skiing, mountain biking, hiking with his Corgi pups, and traveling

Mark Freifeld is a customer service professional with a specialty and emphasis in healthcare office management and patient care coordination.  He began this trajectory in a massage and holistic wellness center environment and progressed to medical management in a Naturopathic doctor medical setting.  He is now bringing his honed skillsets and talents to the physical therapy realm.

Tyler recently moved to Portland from Hawaii where he has worked for Therapydia the past 8 years. He is originally from northern Ohio and went to Ohio State for his undergraduate in Athletic Training. He worked briefly for the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL, before deciding to pursue Physical Therapy at Duke University. After earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, he spent a year in an Orthopedic Residency to become Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Tyler has been a physical therapist for 9 years and has been a clinic director for over 5 years. Fun fact about Tyler is that he recently got engaged and has two dogs named Rufio and Baxter. He’s excited about the transition to Oregon and eager to get to know and explore the PNW!

Rae was born in Salem, MA and raised in northern New Jersey. He received his Bachelors in Communications from University of Massachusetts – Amherst and has been in many customer service and office administrative roles. He moved out here to Portland about 4.5 years ago to pursue his love of landscape/adventure photography. When he is not working, he can be found out in nature – shooting photographs, hiking/backpacking, camping, rock climbing, etc. Rae has a 2.5 year old Australian Cattle Dog, Indi, who joins me on most of his adventures.

Born in Texas, Jennifer has a father that was an archeologist at the Alamo so she got to dig in the dirt with the grad students as a kid. She moved to Santa Fe NM before teen years and grew up there, when there was really nothing for a teen to do. Jennifer graduated from a small high school with a class of 9, but went on to UNM for Biological Anthropology where she actually held a Neanderthal bone in her hand. She moved to San Francisco as the year 2000 rolled around, but then returned to New Mexico to apply to the PT program at UNM School of Medicine.

After graduation, Jennifer lived and worked between Denver, Albuquerque, and Santa Fe, then decided to leave full time PT work to pursue a 2nd undergraduate degree in Art History. Random but amazing. She went back to full time PT and, a few years later, was recruited away from the Southwest dry heat for a job in Tacoma and the rain of the PNW.

After 4 years in Tacoma, her partner and her decided to bring their 2 fur babies to Portland to enjoy the foodie and artistic scene. Jennifer loves to garden and bake and cook, and watch the rain snuggled on the couch with her furry little knuckleheads. She is excited about the food and art scene in Portland and is looking forward to exploring her new area with her Partner and fur babies.
